How it works

Once you pick up your bike from us, your Buzzbike journey is only just getting started… By downloading the Buzzbike Cycle Club app and connecting by Bluetooth, you can track your stats, win prizes and much more. Check out our user guide below, as well as some troubleshooting tips at the bottom to get all the details.

1. Record your ride.

Open up the app and your phone will connect to your bike if it’s in range. You can then start a ride and ride off into the sunset!

3. Ride More | Get More

Record every ride and you'll be unlocking badges and stacking up BCC prizes in no time - sent right out to you. You can check out your upcoming milestones on the Badge screen. Pro tip: keep an eye out for the golden edged badges - they have prizes attached. Summary of available rewards coming your way next week!

4. Share Your Rides

Completed a challenge? Won a swanky prize? The people need to know! Hit 'Share' after completing a ride or unlocking a badge to make it happen.

5. Call a mechanic.

You're always a few taps away from an on-demand mechanic. Access them from the side menu where you see 'Schedule a Mechanic'. They'll come right out to you to pick up and take her away, do some serious mechanic-y stuff, and then return your Buzzbike to you in tip-top condition!

Troubleshooting

I can’t seem to connect to my bike?

If you’re having trouble connecting to the bike to record a ride, please try the following steps first:

  • Make sure you're not using battery saver mode
  • Force-quit and restart the app
  • Log out and in again
  • Uninstall and reinstall from the App Store

If the problem is recurring and none of those steps work, get in touch with us at help@buzzbike.cc and we’ll do our best to get you fixed up pronto.

What to do if the journey fails to upload

If your phone isn’t connected to the internet when you try to upload your journey, then it will save the ride and attempt to re-upload later.

If you’re unsure whether your ride uploaded, try waiting a few hours, and if your total mileage doesn’t update, let us know!

I forgot my password

Your password can be reset from the app by tapping ‘Forgot password’ on the login screen. We’ll then email you a reset link. Easy peasy.

I can't login to the app

If you’ve tried resetting the password, and still can’t login, just drop us a line and we’ll sort it out. Please note, you won’t be able to login before you pick up your bike.

I've found a bug in the app

It would be great if you could screenshot it and drop us a note of what happened. We love squashing bugs
